Mercedes GL by MKB

Mercedes GL with a V12 engine, tuned by MKB.

Designed for owners who want exclusivity and performance, the V12 conversion "is not easy" - because it requires modifications to the gearbox, electronic control system and four-wheel drive system - but rewards drivers with 668 PS (491 kW / 658 hp) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph).

The engine swap takes six months and costs a staggering €217,568 ($294,030 / £190,070) which doesn't include the price of the original vehicle.

Carlsson CK63 RS based on Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG

At the Frankfurt motor show, German tuner Carlsson premiered the Carlsson CK63 RS - based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG with Performance Package.

To knock the 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of Performance Package CLS 63 AMG from 4.3 seconds down to 4.1 seconds, Carlsson adds some output to the series 557 PS (410 kW / 550 bhp) to take maximum horsepower and torque up to 649 PS (477 kW / 642 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

Carlsson fits a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit too, which includes a new front spoiler and RS front spoiler lip, black-colored stainless steel grille inserts, rear boot-lid spoiler, rear skirt insert and RS rear diffuser.

A stainless-steel sport exhaust system with four oval pipes is also added, along with rim offerings up to 20-inch in size and an adjustable suspension kit which can lower the ride-height up to 30 mm for the CLS models equipped with the Airmatic suspension.

For the interior, Carlsson adopts Nappa leather in Mokka brown color along with carbon inlays in dark brown/matte. Other features include the illuminated door sill panels, soft velour floor mats with the Carlsson logo and door pins of brushed aluminium.

German tuner Kubatech has a new power upgrade package for the SLS AMG Gullwing.

That's 17 PS more than the 608 PS (447 kW / 600 hp) expected in the upcoming SLS AMG Black Series and in full compliance with what is allowed by Mercedes-Benz.

Total cost for the upgrade is €8026.

Porsche Panamera wide-body kit by Hamann

Tuner Hamann has developed a new wide-body package for the Porsche Panamera.

The storied German racing and tuning-house starts off with a special aerodynamic kit that includes a larger rear wing and a unique rear diffuser to house those oddly-shaped tailpipe tips from the sport exhaust. The new wings widen the Panamera by 60 mm at both the front and rear axles.

For engine tuning on the Panamera Turbo, Hamann offers to bump up output by 80 PS (59 kW) and 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft) of torque.

Wheels fitted to this wide-bodied Panamera are the new Unique Forged Gunmetal 22-inchers with rims sized 9,5J x 22 wrapped in 265/30ZR22 tires at the front and 11,0J x 22 at the back with tires sized 305/25ZR22.

Hamann also provides a lowering module for the air suspension of the Panamera that lowers the Autoby 30 mm.

For the interior, Hamann offers a variety of individualization options that include the finest leathers and/or Alcantara for the upholstery, aluminum pedals and piano lacquer trimming.

Porsche Panamera Turbo by Anderson Germany

Tuner Anderson Germany has a new package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo.

First up is a power boost on the twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 which comes with a standard output of 500 PS (368 kW / 493 hp) but now gets dialed up to 585 PS (430 kW / 577 hp) by means of an ECU remap and a new sport exhaust.

The body kit includes large front and rear vents, a lightweight carbon bonnet, LED head and taillights and a rear boot-mounted spoiler/wing.

For the ride is an adjustable suspension which lowers the Panamera by 40 mm at the push of a button. Wheels are the 10 x 22-inch rims wrapped in 265/30R22 tires at the front and 295/25R22 at the back.

On the inside is a sports steering wheel with carbon fiber and a carbon leather upholstery with diamond stitching complemented by black alcantara. Carbon trimming is done throughout the cabin while red LED lamps light the floor both for the front and rear passengers.
